The Noise Between

Leaving Apple Wasn’t My Choice. But Reinventing Myself Was.

Leaving Apple Wasn’t My Choice. But Reinventing Myself Was.

When my body made the decision for me.

I didn’t leave Apple because I wanted to.

I left because my body made the decision for me. After two herniated discs, I had to step away from a role I loved. Teaching, creating, connecting with people. And when you’re forced to stop doing something that gave you meaning, the silence afterward can feel unbearable.

Losing ground, finding questions

At first, I was lost. I felt like the ground had disappeared beneath me. Burnout is one thing, but when your body says “enough,” it’s hard to know who you are without the work that once defined you. But being pushed out of one chapter forced me to go deep inside and ask myself: What now? What do I really want to create in this life?

Who do I want to be when the job title is gone?

Where Neurodazzled was born

That’s when Neurodazzled® came to life. Not out of a polished business plan or perfect strategy, but out of struggle, reflection, and the realization that my neurodivergent brain — with all its chaos and brilliance — wasn’t something to hide. It was something to build from. Neurodazzled is more than an e-commerce shop.

It’s my way of turning pain into purpose. A place where neurodivergence isn’t something to “fix” but something to celebrate. A brand for those of us who’ve been told we’re “too much” — and decided to turn that into our strength.

From endings to beginnings

Leaving Apple was not my choice. But creating this new path is. And I’m proud of it. If you’ve ever had life knock you down and force you to reimagine yourself, I see you. And maybe this is the reminder you need: the end of one story can be the beginning of something greater. And if you want to follow along as I share more about this journey, you’ll find me building and writing over at Neurodazzled.
